When you're a parent, you know that forgetting something your child loves, even something small, can turn into a meltdown of epic proportions. So for Kia’s 2023 Super Bowl spot, we took a forgetful dad on an unforgettable journey for a missing Binky.
Binky Petition
To create buzz (and, a little confusion) before the spot launched we created a petition on Change.org to get a Binky emoji added to our keyboards. Because, even Apple forgot the binky.
TikTok Filter
Following current trends on TikTok, we let users put themselves in our Super Bowl ad with our Epic Jump filter. Over 6,700 users posted themselves in the driver's seat of the Telluride X-Pro.
TikTok ALt Endings
Since our Super Bowl commercial ends without Binky Dad finding the right Binky, we wanted to keep the adventure going with a first-of-its-kind TikTok initiative. We created a series of alternate endings on TikTok and encouraged people on the platform to create and share their own endings.
Social Posts
Along with posting the full spot on socials, we posted GIFs with Binky Dad jokes and interacted with other brands on game day.
